Commissioned sculptures are particularly enjoyable for me as it presents an opportunity to get to know the horse and owner. I get tremendous satisfaction in identifying the characteristics that make the horse so endearing and special to its' owner and in translating those characteristics into a bronze sculpture that embodies the spirit of their beloved horse.
